Description
I am 40, right-handed, my cycle length is a constant 30 days.
After the sudden and dramatic death of my horse on 4.9.24 (euthanasia under surgery after lipoma pendulans and 8 meters of necrotized jejunum) my cycle changed from December onwards. Ovulation already on cycle day 11, 12 or 13 and mittelschmerz already from day 7.
My explanation:
Hormone-forming ovarian cancer on the left after loss conflict.
The hormone plus should compensate for the loss (better chances of offspring).
My cycle is now back to 28 days and the pain in my left ovary has almost disappeared. I am over it.
What do you think?
Note from Björn Eybl:
Thanks for the report Ann. Now, of course, an ultrasound of your ovaries would be interesting - namely, whether you can actually see a new formation.
I think you are right that the death of your horse was your loss conflict.
In any case, the premature ovulation indicates a sudden increase in oestrogen in your body. 2 to 3 months after the loss conflict, you should have got over it and your body allowed an ovarian cyst to grow (cell plus in the healing phase).
After the first hormone high, you should now have leveled off at a slightly higher estrogen level.
The ovaries remain enlarged. And you can look forward to staying young for longer.
Considerations by Ingmar Marquardt:
In the active phase after the loss conflict (from the beginning of September 24), the new-mesodermal ovarian tissue is reduced, which initially leads to a slight reduction in oestrogen.
After resolution, which presumably took place in October or November, the reduction initially remains when the tissue is rebuilt with a cyst.
Only towards the end of regeneration is the excess new tissue functional, so that from then on more oestrogen is produced than before, which has led to a shortening of the cycle by more than 5 days from December.
The fact that the cycle subsequently became somewhat longer again could also be due to other SBSs (territorial areas), for example, or also to the fact that there were recurrences and thus scarring in the cyst tissue, which in turn restricts the function of the tissue.
