My boy, about 6 years old at the time, was playing with the neighbor's boy in the garden.
I told him I was taking his little brother to the farm (just a meadow away from our house) and asked if he wanted to come with me or stay at home.
He said he would stay with the neighbor.

I went and unfortunately didn't check with the neighbor's mom to make sure they were staying too.
In fact, it was only a few minutes after I left that the neighbor went to soccer with his mother and my boy was left alone.
He was very scared, felt left alone and was so shocked that he didn't even think of going to another neighbor or following me.
He was freezing and crying.

About 30 minutes later, I came back and comforted him.
But I already knew the conflict had happened.
He must have been in conflict for several weeks.

Then came a weekend when I was doing a training course, so I wanted to leave him alone again.
But this time I told him beforehand and made sure someone was with him.
Dad was there and Grandpa and Uncle also came to visit.
So he knew: Mom is going away and I'm still not alone.

Apparently that was the solution to the conflict, because that very night after my training day, he developed a rash on his scalp.
And just two days after that weekend, he got the “skin disease” impetigo (lichen).
And it was 100% only on the left side, i.e. his mother's side.

There was actually not a single pustule on the other side.
The pustules broke open after a few days, but spread massively and were very intense, especially on the face.
The doctor wanted to give antibiotics or at least antibiotic ointments.
I knew the cause and had a cream made with essential oils to help and gave him globules.

It lasted a few days and became quite intense in the meantime, where my husband also became very nervous and said “it's getting more and more instead of less”.

But I was very clear and gave him time.
It healed and nothing remained. Kind regards, Kathrin
